Tullamore Distillery Tour

Join us on the immersive sensory journey that brings the stories of Irish Whiskey, the distilling process, and Tullamore D.E.W. to life. This VIP Distillery Tour will include a cooperage visit/demo, the NEW Snug experience, a sensory experience, and a Whiskey Masterclass. You’ll begin with the birth of a brand and end with it in your glass – your personal tasting session. See how they use malting to trick their barley into growing, hear the tales of the distillery’s early workers, and find out how the angels always get their share. The whole tour takes every step of the artisan craft of whiskey making, each stage a story told through captivating media and expert guides' good old Irish charm. Like the whiskey, the Distillery is for those who want a taste of the exceptional. It’s for those who search for hidden depths, embrace discovery, and put their faith in the genuine.

Golf at K Club

The K Club offers a unique golfing experience, comprising not one, but two parkland golf courses designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, whose iconic courses are world-renowned. Both courses have received significant upgrades and investment in recent years and with such an extraordinary asset – we are the only 36-hole, Arnold Palmer designed destination in Europe – The K Club golf team is looking to the future with the same trailblazing attitude found elsewhere on our 550-acre resort. Rightly proud of our legacy as a leading tournament destination – having hosted the 2006 Ryder Cup among other championship tournaments – they are also looking forward to hosting the Irish Open in 2025 and 2027, as well as the Irish Challenge Tour in 2026.

Kinitty Castle Tour

The present building was originally built by William O’Carroll on the site of the old Abbey in 1630.  The English Forces, as part of the plantation of Offaly, or “Kings County” as it was renamed, confiscated this in 1641.  In 1663 Colonel Thomas Winter was granted 2,624 acres by King Charles II for military services rendered.  The Winter family sold the building in 1764 to the Bernards of County Carlow.  This building was reconstructed as a castellated mansion in 1811 by the famous Pan Brothers at the commission of Lady Catherine Hutchinson, wife of Colonel Thomas Bernard.  The building was burned in 1922 by Republican forces and rebuilt by means of a Government grant of £32,000 in 1927.  The building became the property of Lord Decies in 1946.  He in turn sold it and the estate to the Government of Ireland on 12th December 1951.  The State used the castle as a Forestry Training centre from 1955 until it was purchased in 1994 and turned into a 37 bedroom luxurious hotel for all guests both locally and internationally to enjoy.

Cliffs of Moher

When you head to the Cliffs of Moher, you're coming for one of two things: the staggering height of the rock face, and the stunning views from the top. Soaring to 214m, the striated stone reaches its long fingers southward to counties Cork and Kerry beyond, and from O'Brien's Tower those with a keen eye may even be able to spot the Aran Islands to the north. To make the most of the magic, nothing quite beats a wind-whipped trek across the clifftop, the edges peaking slightly upwards like the crests of the waves that roll endlessly below. Try the Doolin Cliff Walk: it leads you down the full length of the well-worn trail to the hugely informative Visitor Center, set into the hillside like a hobbit house.
